Pole Light Garden

We have a carriage-style pole light out by the street, alongside the front walk with all the marigolds. In the summer the pole light gets swallowed whole by the clematis vines surrounding it.  We have to trim the stringers back from the bulb housing every week or so, or they'll completely engulf the bulb, too. If we let it go too long, it's like a Black Hole plant - no light escapes the center!

This is our pole-light garden, part of the walkway garden but significant on its own....

The Clematis will engulf the entire lamp pole if we let it.....

This is Pink Yarrow and a few extra marigolds.....

The orange Asiatic Lilies are blooming......
