Sidewalk Edge Garden

Along the western edge of our property, by the side street, is a long row of ledge rock rubble that has had mulch and dirt dumped on it, and eventually had various semi-wild plants and flowers planted in it.  Its a bit out of control now, and probably should be planned better, but its there now so we go with it as it is....

2005 Update: We've decided to remove this jumble of rocks, plants, and weeds and replace it with a curving sculpted raised bed, using the same blocks that we used for the raised beds in the back yard. About ten feet of the eventual 100-foot bed has been built, and is awaiting planting in the spring.
