Small Island Garden

On the west side of our front yard, we have a smaller version of the big kidney-shaped garden that's over on the east side (complete with a small ledge chunk to match the large ledge chunk in the large garden).  The centerpiece of this garden is a burning bush that flames a bright red in the early fall.....

 

The long spires of Liatris are not in bloom yet in this picture....

This is a Burning Bush, which will gradually get darker and redder leaves, until it looks likes its on fire in the fall...
