At first glance, the garden along the west side of the front of the house is a mirror image to the east side, but its not. The west side garden has more shrubs than flowers...

To the left is the edge of the red azalia, then a low evergreen and a high evergreen (one of the two gumdrop bushes on either side of the entrance stairs). We've since added a rose trellace on the back brick, and a miniature boxwood in the front. On the far left out of view (but visible on the panorama) is a "dwarf" lilac that is pretty big for a dwarf! |
